It is hard to believe that 2019 is already here. It is normal for us to come up with resolutions, get healthy, make changes, or all the above. I am no exception.
I took a few weeks during the holidays to take a break and reflect on my blog. I have decided to move forward with what was working in 2018.
I will be continuing to blog once a week on the weekends. I enjoy telling what is going on in my classroom, teaching tips, and memory lane. I also would love to discuss educational topics and products. But I have decided to be less structured. I use to address each topic once a month on a specific week and that became problematic because of vacations or great lessons I was doing at different times during the month. Therefore, I am going to ditch the structure, but still include the things I like to blog about.

Of course the beginning of the year wouldn’t be complete with goals. I have decided to dedicate more time for self-care, which I was pretty consistent with until late last year. I am walking everyday again and eating well. The best benefit is I feel better and I have more energy to be more productive.
The second goal I have is to work more on creating more products for my store. I have more time on my hands now, so I feel I can creating products can be a bigger focus. I actually love to create, so I hope to do more sewing too.

Finally, I want to engage in the things that make me happy. Being organized is one of those things. I just purchased a new planner this week. I really enjoy recording my schedule, appointments, financing, and personal achievements. I am “a list” girl. I like to see what I complete and I like having a focus.
So whatever you choose to work on or be challenged by this year, I hope you have a great 2019. Let’s all make this the best year so far!
Thanks for stopping in!
