Summer brings time to work on products for my TpT store! When I am school, my priority is having my lessons ready for my kiddos and TpT is secondary. However, in the summer I have much more time on my hands, so I pump out more products.

This week I am happy to share with you my latest product – The Wild Robot Escapes – I Have… Who Has? Game.
I am going to be reading The Wild Robot Escapes in the fall to my students. I love this book so I decided to create an I Have… Who Has? Game. My students love playing it. There are thirty-five cards that I pass out to students. One student will begin by reading the card and at the bottom of the card it asks a question starting with Who has…? The student who has the answer to that question reads his card, and so on. When all the cards are read, it will loop back to the student who started the game.
The cards cover vocabulary and comprehension related to the story. This is a great activity to play after completing the book or as a test prep. I also time my students to see how long it takes to go through the cards. We usually do the activity four or five times and I challenge the students to beat their latest time.
The Wild Robot Escapes – I Have…Who Has? Game also comes with an answer key to allow the teacher to follow along as the students read the cards to make sure they are read in the correct order.

Review
This month I am reviewing the Free List of Character Traits by Coast 2 Coast Teacher.
It has a well developed list of positive and negative character traits for your students to refer to. I like how it is organized with the positive and negative traits and they are all alphabetized. You could give these sheets to your students to place in their reading and writing notebooks. You could also use them as posters in your classroom. When discussing texts or developing characters for stories, these lists would be a great resource.
